16th November 2016 Windsurfing: Llanfairfechan Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: F4 and F5 Surf / Sea State: chop Air Temperature: 10 Sea Temperature: 12.2 Weather: cloud Max Speed: 21.6/2secs (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 13.8 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Looked windy so rigged 76l/5.2m but just about planed for 30 minutes then spreader bar broke. Wind dropped so up to 96l and could not bother changing sail, but knew I should have and proven by walk back from first jetty. Sea was high so only place to land too. After 45 mins wind came back so 96l/6m for another 30 mins then wind went again. Rik said he was blasting at West Shore on 4.4m so guess Anglesey was blocking the wind. Fluffed quite a few gybes too :-(. Just about 3*. |
